Trinity Management embeds with owner-operators to clean up the accounting, tighten the operation, and turn a business that lives in your head into one that's manageable, transferable, and worth what you put into it.
Business management and consulting with certified management accounting services. We are not a CPA firm — we're the management partner that works alongside yours.
Most of the owners we work with are good at the thing they do. Very good. What they don't have is a clean, current, trustworthy set of numbers behind the decisions they're making — and no real system for keeping them that way.
It usually looks something like this:
The books are a couple months behind, and nobody's certain the reconciliations are right.
You make five- and six-figure decisions off a number you don't entirely trust.
The important stuff lives in your head. Not on paper. Not anywhere someone else could find it.
Your CPA does good work at tax time. The other eleven months are on you.
You've thought about who takes this over someday. You haven't done anything about it.
If you had to sell tomorrow, there's nothing to hand a buyer but a shoebox and your word.
That last one is the expensive one. A business that isn't documented isn't transferable, and a business that isn't transferable is worth a fraction of what you built. That's the gap we close.
We're a business management and consulting firm. We come in, get close to how your operation actually runs, and bring certified management accounting with us.
In practice that means we do two things at once. We get the financial side accurate and current — coding, reconciliations, close, reporting — and we sit at the table with you on the decisions that come out of it. Should you buy the building. Can the second location carry itself. What that new hire really costs. Whether the numbers you're looking at are telling you what you think they are.
We don't hand you a report and leave. We stay in it.
We are not a CPA firm. We don't audit, we don't issue attest reports, and we don't file your returns. That's your CPA's work, and a good one is worth keeping — we'll work right alongside them.
What we handle is the management side of your numbers: the day-to-day accuracy, the monthly close, the analysis, and the judgment calls that follow. Done right, it means your CPA's job in April gets a whole lot easier, because everything's already in order.
We're not trying to serve a hundred clients. We're looking for about ten that we can genuinely move the needle for. This works because we go deep, and going deep with a hundred people isn't possible. If we're a fit, you'll get real attention.
If we're not a fit, we'll say so early and point you somewhere better.
We'd rather tell you up front than waste your time.
We get inside the operation, not just the ledger.
Numbers that are accurate, current, and safe to make a decision on.
Delivered behind the scenes by Jordan Marler, CMA.
Run the numbers before the money moves.
Turning what you built into something you can actually hand off.
The part most firms skip.
Surveys consistently find that more than half of business owners have no succession plan — usually because they're “still figuring it out.” And buyers notice. When there's no trained leadership behind the owner, acquirers protect themselves with earnouts and clawbacks that come straight out of the seller's number. Sorting this out early is worth real money.
A real conversation about your business, where it hurts, and where you'd like it to be in five years. No charge, no pitch. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
We come in, get the accounting current and correct, and start documenting how the operation actually runs. This is where most of the relief shows up.
An ongoing engagement that keeps the numbers clean, the reporting on schedule, and a second set of eyes on every decision that matters.
Owner-operated businesses have more in common than they think. That said, we've spent real time in:
If your industry isn't on the list, that's usually not the issue. Ask us.
[Bio pending — needs a short intake from Jacob. Angle: he's an operator first, not an accountant who read a book about business. Entities he's run or been inside of, the kind of owners he's helped settle things down for, and the succession work.]
Certified Management Accountant · Institute of Management Accountants
Jordan handles the accounting side of every engagement — coding and general ledger oversight, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and the analysis behind the recommendations we bring you. He's a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a credential issued by the Institute of Management Accountants covering financial planning, analysis, control, and decision support. Most of Jordan's work happens behind the scenes. It's the part that makes everything else possible.

No. We're a business management and consulting firm with certified management accounting services. We don't perform audits, issue attest reports, or prepare tax returns. We work alongside your CPA and handle the management side of your numbers — the monthly accounting, the reporting, and the analysis behind your decisions.
Broadly, a CPA is oriented toward compliance, attest work, and taxes. A Certified Management Accountant is oriented toward planning, analysis, control, and decision support inside a business. Most owners need both. They're not competing credentials.
A bookkeeper records what happened. We're accountable for whether the numbers are right, whether the process behind them holds up, and what you should do about what they're telling you.
Generally $1 million to $25 million in gross revenue, owner-operated. We take on a small number of clients on purpose.
Almost never. Most of our clients keep their CPA and their internal bookkeeper. We coordinate with both and take responsibility for the management accounting and the reporting.
Yes — that's a lot of what we do. It usually starts with an honest look at whether the business is transferable in its current condition, then getting the records, processes, and dependencies to where somebody else could actually step in.
Engagements start with a scoped project and generally move to a monthly retainer. Pricing depends on the size and condition of the business. We'll quote it after we've talked.

Tell us a little about your business and we'll get back to you. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and try to point you somewhere useful.

We're looking for about ten clients we can genuinely move the needle for.
If that's not you, we'll say so early and point you somewhere better.
